Evie Helen Reckendrees
is a writer and community organizer.

She has lived and studied in London, Brooklyn and Cologne,
where she is currently based.

Evie studies Media Arts with a focus on poetry
and performance at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne
(Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln).
She is a recipient of the Young Student Award at KHM in
2023 for her writing and performance.

Her poetry, autobiographical prose and essays discuss
the life of delinquents, perverts & the life in and out of liberatory movements.

Her academic work focuses on the intersections of
gender and  performance as well as their utopian potentials.
